That’s often how we see ourselves after addiction, sin, or deep wounds; we think the goal is for God to simply “glue the pieces back together.”
But the truth is even greater. God doesn’t just pick up the broken pieces of your old life and reassemble them. He shatters your old identity completely. The person you thought you were – the one marked by shame, failure, or addiction; it no longer defines you!
Now, each broken piece that once looked like destruction has become a new reflection of His image in you. Each shard reflects His image, His glory, His redemption. Instead of seeing the fragments of who you were, you now see the face of Christ shining through your new identity in completeness, wholeness, restoration and a life transformed.
